Look no further than our intimate wine tasting experience. From picturesque views of the Mississippi River Bottoms to an amazing selection of wines and delicious menu options, we know you’ll fall in love with the one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Our location provides beautiful views of the vineyard and is uniquely located in the tri-state area, between Hannibal, MO, and Quincy, IL, off Highway 57.
Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned wine connoisseur, we welcome all to enjoy our family-owned and operated venue property. In this post, we’ve put together a list of what you can expect when you visit our wine-tasting room.
Wine Tasting
It’s no surprise that wine will be available in our wine-tasting room. However, what is a surprise, is the refreshing taste of six locally sourced wine samples. Our chambourcin and chardonel grapes are grown right here at Pointe D’Vine in Quincy, IL, and fermented, and bottled at a nearby winery to offer a taste of flavorful perfection. You can even purchase a bottle of your favorite wine to take home with you as a souvenir of your time in our vineyard.

Groups of all sizes are welcome to join us during our hours of operation. We do ask that groups of six or more schedule a wine tasting in advance. This ensures we have the proper accommodations and can customize the experience based on your group size.
Vineyard Tours
Complement your wine-tasting experience with a browse through our vineyard, approximately one acre in size. You’ll have an opportunity to go on a guided tour of our vineyard, where our experienced guides will take you on a walk around the vineyard and venues. You’ll learn about the history of our company, how we select the grapes we grow, the harvesting process, and all the places you can host events around our establishment.
Tasting Room Events and Entertainment
Our tasting room is the perfect destination for a small social gathering or couples night out. Live music and entertainment are performed by local artists, generally once a month on Friday and every Sunday beginning in April.
Our tasting room itself is cozy and intimate, with additional outdoor seating overlooking the Mississippi River Valley (weather permitting). Our beginnings were hosting special events so please be aware, we typically have a wedding and/or private celebration every weekend. Unique events and live music are performed during the tasting room’s hours of operation, which are currently the following:

Menu Options
Here at Pointe D’Vine we believe great wine should be paired with great food, and we’ve got that covered too. Appetizers, charcuterie and cheese boards, sliders, and mouth-watering desserts are hand-selected for our current menu. The selection allows us to cater to different tastes and dietary requirements. Enjoy a light sit-down meal or savory additions to your wine-tasting experience.
We know not everyone enjoys the taste of wine, so we’ve crafted a drink menu suited for all palates. Our intimate, walk-up bar offers wine and wine slushies, as well as a selection of domestic and craft beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee and espresso. Non-wine drinkers will find that they have a variety of drinks to choose from!
Family-Friendly Atmosphere
We love gathering with friends and family, and we wanted to create a space where people could do just that. Pointe D’Vine is family-owned and operated, and offers a one-of-a-kind view. Our youngest family members are the seventh generation to reside on the venue property. Everyone is welcome to come as they are to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. Kids and dogs are welcome, too.
